Neon strips are the lighting of choice for many reasons, particularly for small growing areas or very low-height growing rooms or cabinets:
To help you master your lighting, watch our tutorial :
Which neon should I choose for the growing phase?
For the growing phase, we recommend using neon with a cool (blue) spectrum, such as 6400K°. This light favors the development of foliage and the robustness of young shoots.
Can I use neon for flowering?
Yes, for flowering, you should choose neon with a warm (red) spectrum, such as 2700K° or 3000K°. These wavelengths stimulate flower and fruit production. Our Starlite turbo neon lights are ideal for this phase.
What is the ideal distance between the neon strip and my plants?
Thanks to the low heat emission of neon, you can place the strip very close to the plants, generally between 5 and 15 cm, which maximizes light intensity without the risk of burning, unlike other types of horticultural lighting.
What is 100% PAR?
100% PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) means that all the light energy emitted by the lamp is in the wavelength range that plants can use for photosynthesis. Our neon horticultural lighting is optimized for maximum assimilation.
