Slug pellets should be applied at the first signs of damage to plants or crops, preferably in the late evening or early morning, in slightly damp conditions (after watering, rain or in wet weather), when slugs are most active.
By shaking the can horizontally, spread the granules around the plants, not on the leaves, and without making small piles.
