The Spreader is a "V-shaped" perforated metal plate designed to reflect excess light and heat from the "hot spot" to the ends of the grow room.
With the spreader, bulbs can be moved closer to the plants, increasing power, brightness and penetration, and lowering heat. The Spreader reflects approximately 25% of the total light to the ends of the grow room or room, this light emitted by a standard reflector would have created "hot spots".
