Double Ended ceramic bulbs have two ends, so the current comes from both sides of the bulb to converge at the center.
CMH bulbs combine the performance of metal halide lamps (high light output, excellent color rendering index) with the technology of High Pressure Sodium lamps (alumina tube providing longevity and stability of the emitted light).
