Product details

Thanks to an extremely innovative manufacturing process, the Eco Platinium tarpaulins are ± 3 times more resistant than traditional tarpaulins and present exceptional characteristics:

  • Very light and extremely resistant (non-woven polyethylene tearproof),
  • Waterproof, rot-proof and treated against UV (120 Kly),
  • Resistant to temperature variations,
  • Unalterable eyelets welded by ultrasonic process.

This translucent tarpaulin is ideal for everything that concerns the cultivation of vegetables and fruit (protection, greenhouse, etc.) but also to protect objects and materials. 70 g/m² (equivalent to 210 g/m² for a traditional tarp).

The kly - kilo langley - is the unit of measurement of UV exposure (irradiated solar energy) per m2/year. In Europe, the extremes are between 60 kly for the north and 140 kly for the extreme south (between 80 and 120 kly in France). That's why our tarpaulins are treated against UV 120 kly, so that they keep most of their properties.

Dimensions of the tarpaulins are given in rough cut. Finished dimensions : raw cut minus hem width (± 5 to 7 cm). Characteristics and colors according to availability.
